 Andy Johnson, Greencorps Chicago Andy Johnson is a Project Coordinator for Greencorps Chicago, a job training and community garden assistance program operated by the City of Chicago, Department of Environment. He holds a B.S. in Biology from North Park University in Chicago, IL which is complemented by his work experience in landscape, construction and environmental education. He has been with Greencorps Chicago for over 2 years providing basic carpentry, landscape, and driver training. He coordinates environmental projects within Chicago, such as raingardens and cistern installation, that offer unique training opportunities for the participants of Greencorps; and also works with industry partners to coordinate additional training for the participants, including internships and classes. |
