 Elsa Barboza, SCOPE Elsa Barboza is the Campaign Coordinator at SCOPE and leads the Los Angeles Apollo Alliance to shape a new regional and equitable green economy for LA families. Her work centers on making real social change for low-income communities and families of color. Elsa is one of the founding organizers of South Los Angeles grassroots membership organization, AGENDA, and helped to build Black and Latino grassroots power through community organizing, leadership development and waging grassroots policy campaigns. She has led grassroots regional policy campaigns to redirect public resources, create jobs and job training in healthcare and public sector city jobs for low-income communities of color. Elsa has over twenty years experience of social justice and electoral organizing. |
