 John Moore, Global Green John Moore is a fourth generation resident of New Orleans. He was a member of the Pieces of Power art collective and was the 2000 recipient of an arts scholarship. John attended Morehouse College in Atlanta where he studied art and philosophy, and was president of the art club. He received his Master of Fine Arts in 2005, and participated in an environmental fellowship. Since college, John became involved in the green building industry while working for Southface Energy Institute in Atlanta. Moore currently works for Global Green in his hometown of New Orleans building environmentally sustainable homes in the wake of hurricane Katrina. |
