Nile K. Malloyis currently a Freedom from Oil Campaigner
at Rainforest Action Network working
to curb global climate change, advocating for green solutions to curb our
consumption to oil and engaging corporate environmental policy. Outside
of campaigning against big corporations on environmental standards, he is on
the steering committee of Bay Localize working to catalyze a shift from a fossil
fuel-based economy that impacts the health of our communities to a localized
green economy that strengthens all Bay Area communities. He holds a BA in Anthropology and African American
Studies from the University
of Michigan and a Masters
degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology. Nile was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and
currently resides in Oakland,
California.
