Kassidy Johnson, Responsible Endowments Coalition
Kassidy Johnson worked as a National Campus Organizer with the
Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) in Arlington, VA, organizing in the
Deep South region as well as on the campuses of Historically Black
Colleges and Universities (HBCU). A graduate of an HBCU, North
Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in Greensboro,
North Carolina, she obtained a degree in mass communications and
journalism. While with FMF, Kassidy has coordinated several women's
conferences, including FMF's first women of color conference hosted on
the campus of Bennett College. Before FMF, Kassidy worked for
Fleishman Hillard International Communications in Los Angeles, CA
doing corporate communications for private companies. She writes and
co-manages N-Touch News, an urban entertaining and enlightening
publication and website. She has also worked as Event & Media
Coordinator for the Historically Black College University Newspaper
Conference in February 2006, as well as public relations assistant for
the Women's Sports Foundation. On a side note, Kassidy has quite the
sense humor and is a self-proclaimed "people person." She has an
infectious laugh with the personality to boot. She is an avid reader,
writer and secretly loves to karaoke!
